  1. My family really enjoyed our visit to the Squaxin Island Tribe. The museum and the casino were wonderful and the people were very friendly. We hope to come back for another visit soon!

  5. I brought my parents to the museum who were visting from Texas. It was very emotional for my mother, who is also tribal (Choctaw). Absolutely loved the museum and would recommend it to anyone.

  6. My wife & I are friends of Jackie & Harold Crenshaw. Jackie is an elder of the Squaxin tribe. We have been invited to the past 3 “first salmon” of the year celebrations with them and we enjoyed it tremendously each time. This year, the 3rd time, I was chosen as a witness of the on-going tradition of the 1st salmon of the year and felt VERY honored to being chosen as a witness. I was given a blanket as an award to the occasion. I will treasure it always!! Thank You very much. I look forward to the next year’s first salmon of the year’s celebration.
